In 2005 I enjoyed anchoring news on AM, FM and internet radio stations;
voiced some commercials that ran on those stations; became a full-time
seminar presenter for a training program for Housing Counseling Services,
Inc; voiced announcements for four GC Louisiana Cheer, inc. cheer leading
teams; became the lead PA Announcer for the American Basketball
Association's Maryland Nighthawks; and saw the computer/video game
"Crime Life," (
www.konami-crimelife.com) for which I voiced a
character, hit stores for the holiday season with versions for Xbox,
Playstation and PC.
In 2004, I was Master of Ceremonies for cheer leading and dance
competitions held across the country, from Baltimore to Las Vegas. Once
or twice a month I was in a different city with Atlantic Cheer and Dance
Championships, Inc. Also, it was in 2004 when I first made contact
with representatives at
www.earcom.net, I went to New York and
recorded voices for the Crime Life computer game produced by Konami of
Europe,
www.Konami.com, a production house that has had games
picked up by Xbox and Playstation.

How do you get started in voiceover? Well, a few years ago I trained for
voice-over and radio announcing. I went to New York and did my voiceover
training under the highly respected David Goldberg, Director of Edge
Studios,
www.edgestudio.com. Next I went to the Columbia School of
Broadcasting,
www.csbamerica.com , where I trained for radio
announcing. These were great experiences and I recommend that any
aspiring voice artist take the plunge and invest in good training. The
rewards are fantastic.
As you can see I do travel; therefore, it’s best to try to reach me by email
or cell phone. I will respond to all job requests. Also, I want to know what
you think of the web site? How it can be made more helpful to you?
Thanks for stopping by and all the best to you on your project or voice
-over career.
Sincerely, Ron Clarkson
